In accordance with the rules of the Republican Party of Arkansas, a meeting of the First Congressional District is hereby called on this date, February 19, 2011 to elect officers for the years 2011-2012.

CHAIRMAN’S NOTE-all county chairman must turn in the names of their District Committeeman/woman, district members and elected county officials to the District Secretary prior to the meeting in order to have an accurate Roster of eligible voters.  Names must be on the Roster to vote!

I'm certain Congressman Crawford has had

an exciting time in Washington D.C. these

past few days that he has been in Congress.

I am anticipating hearing stories when the

Congressman comes to speak at our First

District Committee meeting in February.

For now, our Congressman has his hands full

in the Committees to which he has been assigned.

From the Jonesboro Sun, dateline 1/21/2011in an article

titled: "Crawford named to subcommittees" (page A7) we learn

our friend Rick has been appointed to three key Congressional

Subcommittees with broad oversight of national transportation

and infrastructure issues, and was named vice chairman of the

Subcommittee on Economic Development, Public Buildings

and Emergency Management. (This information can also be see on
