LINCOLN DAY DINNER

Come meet your Congressman!

There for a while, it looked like the flooding
was going to make it necessary to cancel our
annual Lincoln Day Dinner fundraiser.

Yet the dinner is a "go". If you have not yet
declared how many tickets you have sold, or
reported any sponsorships, please do so
immediately. Contact either Kim or Chad
Moseley to report these sales. A headcount is
needed for the caterers.

(Please see extra phone numbers in the right
hand column here on this page.)

Those of you who are willing and able need to
report to help set up and decorate. Contact either
Kim Moseley or Barbara Clark to inquire as to when.

Remember, we are also to bring desserts. You may
wish to check in with Kim to declare a dessert.

The dinner is set for 6:30 p.m. April 7th at
headquarters,116 W. Main St., Walnut Ridge.
Registration starts at 5:3o.

The dinner tickets are $25.00 each, and
is to be catered by Ole Hickory. They
outdid themselves last year with the food,
and we expect it to be as good this year.

Guest speakers will be our very own US Congressman
Rick Crawford and Jon Hubbard, State Congressman
from District #75, Craighead County.

Benny Speaks, District #1 Chairman is also
scheduled to speak briefly.

I'm told on good authority that Benny
Speaks and Kim Moseley will sing
the National Anthem. Then Benny
will play his guitar and honor us with
a couple of songs. It is  amazing where
one finds talents!

Come loaded with questions for
Congressman Crawford and AR State
Congressman Jon Hubbard.

There will be door prizes and a silent auction.

If you are donating something to the auction,
please contact Loretta with your contribution.

If you have yet to purchase a ticket, contact
either of the Moseleys, or Jim Cline, who
is vice-chair of our committee. Plan to attend
and bring a neighbor or guest or two.

It sounds like it will be a fun evening!

(Again, I apologize for not getting these notices
up in a timely fashion. It appears that life has
a way of interfering with plans.)
